Sustainability
A better tomorrow
starts in the soil.
Fair grower terms, water and soil practice that holds up over decades, and packing and freight choices that take weight out of every shipment.
Why this is commercial, not decorative
An exporter is only as good as the farms it can go back to. Depleted soil, a failing borehole or a grower who lost money last season are supply problems before they are anything else.
So we treat this as sourcing strategy rather than corporate decoration, and we would rather publish a few numbers we can stand behind than a long list of intentions.
-
Fair, predictable terms
Prices agreed before the season, payment on the days we said, and repeat buying from the same groups. Predictability is what lets a grower invest in their land.
-
Soil and water
We back drip irrigation, cover cropping, mulching and organic matter return with cost-sharing, and buy preferentially from blocks that use them.
-
Safer crop protection
Integrated pest management, pre-harvest interval discipline and a banned list we hold to whatever the market allows. Fewer inputs is also better business.
-
Lighter packing
Recyclable corrugate, right-sized cartons and returnable crates on short lanes. We have taken measurable weight out of our packing formats.

Working with growers
We pay for the work that takes.
Switching a block to drip, keeping a cover crop through the off-season or holding a longer pre-harvest interval all cost the grower something in the first year. Asking for them without sharing that cost is not a partnership.
We cost-share on irrigation conversion, fund soil testing across the blocks we buy from, and pay a premium on lots that meet the stricter residue standard rather than simply demanding it.
Being straight about it
We are not carbon neutral and we do not claim to be. Ocean freight, reefer power and road movement to port are real emissions, and the honest position is that we are measuring them and cutting where we can — route choice, load factor, packing weight and sea over air wherever shelf life allows.
